Sometimes in life you are lucky enough to meet someone through a bad experience, that is able to help you get back on track. Steve and his team stepped in on my refurbishment project after another builder ran off with my down payment, leaving carnage behind. Steve expertly took control of the project, estimating time and materials and ensuring I felt comfortable with both, knowing how my trust had been broken. Over the next 6 months, Steve and his team proved that not only were they there to get the job done, they were there to ensure I was not going to jump out the window due to the inevitable stress that comes with a development project. Steve and the team at K&C remodelled my one bedroom apartment and did an excellent job. My brief was a little unusual as I wanted to build a media unit and remodel the kitchen, but I also wanted to fit in two single beds so that I could have guests comfortably stay with me at weekends.
So we came up with a design that included two pull down Murphy beds either side of a 65 inch TV, and changed all the doors and fittings in the kitchen to match. The result looks fantastic and if anything has made the room look even bigger. We also refloored the entire apartment and replaced the bathroom.
What I liked most about working with them ….great attention to detail (they built bespoke doors and sprayed them to a high finish to really set the room off ) , high standard of work , trustworthy , and they Made sure they screened off where they worked and cleaned up later. Also , if there was something I wasn’t happy with , they were straight on it and sorted it out.
I’d be happy to work with them again and would strongly recommend them to others

Steve from K&C was recommended by a neighbour to carry out emergency repairs to our roof.
He arranged access, assessed the problem and talked through the possible solutions. He and his team installed a new waterproofing layer on a section of flat roof re-rendered the party wall and re mortared the external wall/roof joints where rain was coming through. The solutions were clearly explained and the team worked quickly and efficiently, and were very polite. All materials were kept tidy and all waste stacked and removed effectively.
At the office Katie was always on hand to assist with queries.
